NBR Single Lip

Single lip Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) oil seal  has one primary sealing lip and also contains the garter spring. Its primary function is to retain internal lubricant and prevent this from leaking out. The single lip oil seal is generally considered to be a cost effective sealing solution providing good resistance to petroleum-based oils and greases. The single lip is oil seal is suitable for higher shaft speeds due to the reduced friction from the single lip contact point.
