We have Orings available in several materials based on the application, temperature and media environment. As a quick guide, materials can be classed by temperature as follows:
| NBR | Operating temp. from -20°C to + 100°C (General purpose, low cost, some oil, fuels & lubricants. NOT for steam, harsh fuels or chemicals, Ozone) |
| EPDM | Operating temp. from -50°C to + 130°C (Excellent for steam, hot water, UV, Ozone. NOT recommended for use with most oils and fuels) |
| Silicone | Operating temp. from -60°C to + 200°C (Good chemical resistance, physiologically neutral and hence used in food / pharma applications) |
| FKM (Viton®) | Operating temp. from -20° to + 200°C (Chemical, aerospace & industrial use. Good with harsh chemicals. Different grades available) |
