CQMS’21 First Trade Show of the Year

We are back doing exhibition shows! After 1 year and 8 months of doing no trade shows it was great to get back to doing what we love. Our last show was Lamma in January 2020. On September 10^th & 11^th we were exhibiting at CQMS’21. To say it was a highly anticipated show would be an understatement.

The Construction & Quarry Machinery Show (CQMS) is an exhibition show that runs every 2 years. This year’s show was in Molloy’s Quarry in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. The exhibition area was an impressive 100,000 square meters, with 85 exhibitors and over 4000 attendees over 2 days. There was an extraordinary demo zone to show potential customers machinery in action. As well as plenty of exhibition stands with an array of different companies showcasing their products and services they have to offer.  

 

       

We were in zone 2 stand 6, for day 1 the team set up was Jason Flanagan, Sales director, Martin O’Donovan, Sales Engineer and Alicia Brady Marketing Manager. We also had a special appearance from Tony Crinion, Sales Engineer and Catherine McMullen, Product Specialist. On day 2 Jason was still flying the flag and accompanied by Jay Flanagan, Internal Sales who joined him to finish off the show. We had a vast array of samples of our products on display. These showcased our different product options available to potential customers. We also had some trade show specials for sale at very competitive prices from our Seal Tool collection. These consisted of O-ring & seal hook kits, PTFE piston seal resizing clasper, O-ring measuring tower and many more. As well as our O-ring selection boxes, in NBR90 metric and imperial which proved extremely popular over the 2 days.

Where to next?

It was such a great experience to get back out there and meet potential customers and plenty of familiar faces from exhibitors and current customers of ours. It felt like we were back to some sort of normality. This may have been our first show of 2021 but it’s not going to be our last next up for the Abbey Seals on tour team is The National Manufacturing and Supply Chain Conference and Exhibition show.  It's taking place on the 23^rd & 24^th November in the RDS. Hopefully we will get to meet plenty more potential customers at the next show.
